24/7 Emergency Tree Services in Perth

Tree on the roof, limb across the driveway, trunk split down the middle at 2am. We answer the phone and we send a crew, not a callback request.

Call us. Right now, if that is what this is.

+61 409 205 534 is answered around the clock by someone who can dispatch a crew, not an answering service that takes a message. If a tree is on your house, across a road, on a car, or hanging over something it is about to hit, ring rather than reading.

What counts as an emergency

Anything where the tree is currently a danger to people, vehicles or the building. In practice that means:

  • A tree or limb has come down on a house, garage, carport, shed or vehicle.
  • A limb is hung up in the canopy and could drop at any time.
  • The trunk has split, the root plate has lifted, or the tree is visibly leaning further than it was.
  • A tree is blocking a driveway, footpath or road.
  • Branches are down across powerlines. Ring Western Power on 13 13 51 first and stay at least eight metres clear. We cannot touch a tree in contact with live lines until they have made it safe.

A few dead branches on the lawn or a tree you have been meaning to deal with for months is not an emergency, and we will tell you that honestly rather than charging you an after-hours rate for it. Book it in for a normal day and pay a normal price.

Make safe first, tidy up second

The overnight job is almost never the whole job. In the dark, in wind and rain, with a partly collapsed tree, the priority is removing the immediate danger: cutting the limb off the roof, clearing the driveway, taking down the hung-up section, stabilising what is left. That is the make-safe.

The full removal, the stump and the proper clean-up happen in daylight when it can be done safely and properly. Splitting it this way also keeps the after-hours portion of your bill as small as it can be.

Storm season in Perth

Our worst nights run June through August, when cold fronts come off the Indian Ocean with sustained winds and saturated ground. Wet soil plus a full canopy is how healthy-looking trees end up on their side. On a bad front we can take dozens of calls in an hour, so we triage strictly by risk: trees on occupied buildings first, then blocked access, then property damage without injury risk, then everything else at first light.

If you are told you are in the queue, that is the honest position, not a brush-off. We would rather tell you three hours than promise thirty minutes.

Insurance claims

Most home and contents policies in WA cover storm damage from falling trees, and many cover the removal cost of the tree that caused the damage. What they generally will not cover is a tree that fell without damaging anything, or one that failed because it was already dead and neglected.

We photograph everything before we cut, document the failure mode, and provide an itemised invoice and a written description of what failed and why if your insurer asks for one. Do not let anyone clear the site before it is photographed.

Included as standard

What we can do at 3am.

Answered 24/7

A real person, day or night, who can dispatch a crew from your side of the river.

On site within the hour

Perth metro target response, traffic and storm volume permitting. Honest ETAs, not optimistic ones.

Trained for unstable trees

Storm-damaged trees are under load and behave unpredictably. This is not chainsaw-and-hope work.

Insurance documentation

Photos before cutting, a written description of what failed, itemised invoice. Whatever your insurer needs.

Crane on call

When a trunk is resting on a roof, lifting it off beats cutting it off. We can get a crane in overnight.

Road and access clearing

Traffic management where a tree is across a carriageway, coordinated with local authorities.

On the day

How a 24/7 emergency tree services job actually runs.

1

You ring, we triage

We ask what the tree has hit, whether anyone is in danger, and whether powerlines are involved. You get a real ETA within a couple of minutes.

2

Make the area safe

First job on arrival is establishing an exclusion zone and getting people away from anything under load. Sometimes that alone changes the plan.

3

Assess under lights

Storm trees hold enormous stored tension. The climber works out where the load is before a single cut, because releasing it in the wrong order is how people get hurt.

4

Cut the danger out

Limb off the roof, driveway cleared, hung-up section brought down. Enough to make the property safe and usable tonight.

5

Return in daylight

Full removal, stump and clean-up scheduled at normal rates, with all documentation for your insurer sent through.

Good to know

24/7 Emergency Tree Services, answered honestly.

What does an emergency callout cost?

After-hours make-safe work is charged at a callout rate that reflects night crews and gear, and we tell you the rate on the phone before we roll. Keeping the overnight portion to the make-safe and doing the rest in daylight is usually the cheapest way through, and we will steer you that way.

Will my insurance cover it?

Often, for storm damage where the tree hit something. Cover for removing a fallen tree that did not damage anything varies a lot by policy. We provide photos, a written assessment and an itemised invoice so your claim has what it needs, but the decision sits with your insurer.

There are branches on the powerlines. What do I do?

Ring Western Power on 13 13 51 immediately and keep everyone at least eight metres away, including from any fence or gutter the tree is touching. Treat all lines as live. We cannot legally or safely work on a tree in contact with live conductors until Western Power has isolated or made it safe.

Can you come tonight if it is just partially fallen?

Yes, and a hung-up or partly failed tree is exactly the sort of thing worth dealing with straight away. It is holding load it was never designed to hold and the failure point is not predictable. Ring and describe it and we will tell you honestly whether it can wait for morning.

Do you work in the rain?

We work through most weather, but there are limits. Active lightning, sustained gale-force winds and climbing a wet, unstable tree in the dark are lines we will not cross. Where we cannot work safely, we establish an exclusion zone, secure the site and return at first light.
